SunClad Easy-Tilt Double Hung Hardware Options
SunClad Easy-Tilt Double Hung Hardware consists of a pair of positive contact, floating vinyl jamb liners, a spring balance system (contained in the jamb liners), one or two cam action sash locks (depending on the window width), and finger release tilt latches. The jamb liners provide constant, positive contact with the sash for proper sash operation and side air seals. The spring balances have locking pivot shoes that prevent the sash from slipping when tilted. Cam action sash locks are mounted on the check rail along with finger release tilt latches. Unlock the sash locks to raise and lower the sashes. Disengage the tilt latches to tilt the sashes inward for cleaning or other access.
Easy-Tilt Double HungThe sash locks and tilt latches are recess mounted on the sash lock rail. The sash lock rail feature a rounded profile.
Hardware Finishes/ColorsThe standard hardware finishes (or colors) are as follows. On windows with White or Vanilla exteriors (or White painted interiors), the locks, tilt latches and vinyl jamb liners are White. On windows with Sand or Bronze exteriors, the locks, tilt latches and vinyl jamb liners are Tan. You may request alternate color combinations. The locks and tilt latches are available in the finishes shown below. White, Tan and Bronze are standard finishes and are available at no additional charge. Faux Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Polished Brass (not shown) are available at an additional charge.
