Sash Kit Installation Instructions
Prepare to install your new Sash Kit by first removing the old sash stops. You may need to reuse them, so be careful. Next, lift the bottom sash out and disconnect it from the balance system. Remove the side parting stops. Remove the top sash and disconnect it from the balance system. Now you are ready to begin installing your new Sash Kit.

1) Place jamb liner clips in the side jamb pockets . . . |
2) . . . and fasten in place with screws. |
3) Install jamb liners in both side jamb pockets. Snap into clips. |

4) Install top sash first by placing the pivot tab on each side of the sash so that it engages the outer track balance shoes in the side jamb liners. Note exterior side of sash should face up as you place the sash. |
5) With both pivot tabs engaging the balance shoe, make sure the sash is level across the opening and then tilt upward. |
6) Snap the sash into place. Be sure that it is seated fully in the outer balance track. |

7) Install the bottom sash using the same technique as the top sash, only this time using the inner track balance shoes. |
8) Snap the sash into place. Make sure the finger tlit latch tabs engage the side track of the jamb liners. |
9) Raise and lower both sashes to insure they operate properly. Close and lock the sash lock(s) and you are finished. |
