Door Sills & Options

Sun offers a few sill options for your door applications. We have a standard sill and an ADA sill for most door products. Additional options vary based on the door product.

In-Swing Door Sill Options

In-Swing doors use Sun’s, Standard In-Swing Sill. An ADA, low-profile sill is available if it is required by your project.

Note:  ADA approval is dependent upon your project code requirements. Please contact Sun to review your needs and we will help you determine if this sill is appropriate for your application.

Bi-Fold Door Sill Options

Bi-Fold Doors and Windows have three sill options. The Standard sill sits on top of the subfloor surface and has a 2-3/16” total height above the subfloor surface. The ADA sill has a 1/2” height above the finished floor surface but requires a cut-out under the track channel area of the sill. The U-channel is 7/8” high and must be set in a recessed groove so that the top is flush with the finished floor surface.
